Attractions Outside the Casinos of Las Vegas

When you are first looking for cheap flights to Las Vegas, consider looking at packages. These can include flights and hotels and can be an excellent way to save money on the trip overall.

Las Vegas is best known for its world class casinos and so it is understandable that most of the Las Vegas tourist attractions are associated with the big casinos but if you think that all the things to do in Las Vegas are in the casinos, then you are wrong.

At the Red Rock Climbing Center you have a variety of 35 ft climbs on offer. Some for beginners and others for the more experienced.

There are facilities for indoor kart racing or if you are a cycling buff, there is a thriving cycling community in Las Vegas who are always organizing events which visitors are welcome to join in.
In Las Vegas there is never a need to go into a Casino unless you want to. The hotels have an abundance of shows with top names in the entertainment industry.
There are also Malls and other shopping venues that can match the best in the world, only providing different environments in which to shop.
Restaurants of every kind are in Las Vegas, in or out of the hotels you will always be able to find something to suit your taste.

Why stay in the city though, when there is so much to enjoy just outside.

35 miles northeast of Las Vegas is Mount Charleston. This is a popular spot for Las Vegas residents and visitors alike. It offers skiing, camping and picnic sites plus scenic hiking trails.

West of Las Vegas, just 15 miles away is Red Rock Canyon. In this National Conservation Area there is a road that is 13 miles long and loops the entire area. The road provides plenty of opportunities to view impressive scenic sights plus stopping places where you can start hiking or climbing.

Throughout the whole State of Nevada there are Hot Springs where visitors are always welcome.
